Life Inside

The cold, gray walls enclose you. Time crawls. Each day appears the last: a monotonous schedule punctuated by meals and guard rounds. Communication with the outside world is severely curtailed. Hope becomes your constant companion. You fight for purpose in this isolated existence.

You try to maintain sanity. There are moments of humanity: a kind guard, a brief conversation with another prisoner, the occasional kindness of a visitor. But these moments are transient, quickly swallowed by the harsh reality of serving your time.

The weight of your actions presses on you. Forgiveness feel like distant, elusive fantasies. You contemplate if you'll ever truly find your way out, not just from the bars, but from the emotional shackles that trap you within.
